Fine dining done right. Wide price range. Interesting wine choices and great old fashioned style cocktails. Nice atmosphere. Perfect service. Real food and plenty of it. Love this place.

Our son took us to Connor Butler restaurant for Mother's Day. What a real treat. All three of us had his huge and very delicious pork chop. It was served with a combination of fresh pears, figs, and little purple potatoes. The chop was as tender and flavourful as any piece of pork can possibly be prepared. We were served several other dishes of delectible little goodies, an amuse bouche(sp.?), we drank some fantastic cabernet sav. wine, and local cheeses. My favourite way to tell if a chef can really perform is always the soups served. Connor served us a perfect home made clam chowder which was full of flavour, and thick with all the things I love to find in my clam chowder. When I told the server how much I loved it, she told Connor who came to the table with another little cup and a special local wine just to please me on Mother's Day. The deserts afterwards were scrumptious. I am recommending Connor Butler all the way.

Went there for a business dinner on a night when RCB is usually closed. It was right after Valentine's Day and Mr.Butler had given most of his staff the night off. There were fifteen of us and while there a couple of walk in tables came in and were welcomed wholeheartedly by Mr.Butler and his bar manager Ron. With only a skeleton crew at hand, this nice little restaurant proved itself to everyone there. We all stayed until the wee hours and yet no one seemed the least bit troubled over it. This restaurant is not just a great place to sneak into for great food and drinks, it's a place where everyone feels comfortable and leaves thinking how nice the folks that work there are. I recommend it highly. LS

If you don't like Sinatra, delicious free soup served in a teacup (seen this many times at many fancy restaurants... whats the deal pippin?), friendly servers and a relaxed environment, I could understand why you WOULDN't like this place. If you do, like my wife and I who have dined with Conner and Ron many times in the past couple of months, then this little hidden gem obn Granville is just for you. I recommend to all us

My husband and I had a very remarkable Christmas Eve at Rest.Connor Butler. Every table in the house was full when we arrived except our table which we had reserved and we were immediatly seated and asked about drinks. We had his turducken served with butternut and truffel soup, mashed potatoes, fresh cranberries,Christmas bread, and chocolate soufle with sugar-plums. The service was terrific and we ended up staying until after midnight. I highly recommend this great little restaurant.

I've eaten at Connor's place several times and loved it. I have never seen anyone eating from a saucer and don't believe you. You have shown yourself to have some kind of grudge against him and his restaurant on other sites, but your fabrications are too far-fetched to believe.

Just because a restaurant has Versace plates doesnt mean the food is going to be amazing. The atmosphere was tacky - felt I was at my grandmother's house.
Next, if you like to be fed food in a teacup saucer, then this place is for you. Not impressed at all with this place...

I hear he is open on Christmas Eve with a special holiday menu. Will make reservations for sure. Love this restaurant. Go there.

Wish everyone who has ever been to RCB would write a review for him. Was in last wkend. and his place was full and hopping. It says something about him that even though he could have hurried people up to make room for others, he just refuses to do it. If you go there for dinner, expect to spend all the time you wish and really enjoy a truly great dining experience. Then make sure you share it with everyone. Vancouver needs more places like RCB.

Had a great experience at RCB. Anyone that loves fresh made food, warm and friendly service, and a really good time should try it out.

WE love this restaurant and everything about it!! This young lad can really cook and you just know that he loves what he does for a living. Quick recap on the night Great food, friendly service (his wine man and bartender, ron) is knowledable and quietly attentive, and though a bit up-scale price wise, the evening was worth every penny.

Caught in a sudden rainstorm waiting for a taxi. Saw RCB and decided to go on in. Warm, comfortable feel, staff immediately greeted me. I told them I was just gonna have a beer and wait out my taxi but when I saw the food going out to his customers, I changed my mind and stayed. Ron at the bar made me comfortable and kept me full and let me eat where I was and kept a nice banter going. I called the cab off and decided to spend a while longer. Great experience. What restaurants should all be. I like these guys..good luck, I for one will be a regular.
